The new Sharing complex that had been in construction for the past few months was now opening its doors. The event had been announced several weeks in advance, and it was to be a crucial affair for the Yeerks. With the old facility now closed, the Yeerks had a new place to use to enslave more humans.
There was to be a huge feast, with the food provided by the Sharing organization itself. Then a speech from Mr. Smithson himself (Visser Three in human morph; though only the Controllers knew this). There would be several thousand people in attendance. Security would be tight; the Yeerks were expecting the "Andalite bandits" to strike.
Indar 632, in his human morph, walked to the facility, after taking the time to demorph and remorph in the forest. He didn't really want to be here, and neither did Gerlan, but, as a "human"-Controller, it was his duty. He hoped he would see the others who were rebels like him; that was one of the only good things about this.
As of late, he and his host, the Andalite prince, Gerlan, were the only ones who knew his secret. He wanted to keep it that way. After all, another Andalite-Controller? Visser Three would certainly want his head. So, he stayed under the guise of Daniel Hinster, an English teacher at the local middle school.
Gerlan never liked the Sharing, especially once he knew what it was. And he didn't want to see the Abomination again, for sure. But, he knew Indar had to keep up appearances to continue his rebel work. The Andalite, despite his upbringing, was proud that he was part of a movement that had the possibility of helping bring down the Empire.
Indar moved Gerlan's human morph to the front of the building. There it was. It was massive. The walls were of a light brown brick, and it was three stories in places. It would host children's after-school care as well, and summer camp. It even functioned like the YMCA; they had excercise machines inside. Of course, Indar didn't need to excercise; his human morph was in perfect shape. He walked across the street and headed for the door, worried about what lay ahead...
