How many of the books have you read: uh... around 30-40
character applying for: Ax
character race: (As in human, hork-bajir, Andalite etc.) Andalite
status: (As in free, animorph, controller, etc. Players playing as controlers have the double task of RPing as the yeerk, and as the host) animorph
This character appeared in: (If the character was only in one or two books, post them here, if not then ignore this portion)
why do you want to RP this character: cuz Ax is soooo cool and I love the artificial hooves thingy!
why do you like Animorphs: because I like the andalites and the yeerks and I think they are freaking awesome!
Is this character morph capable: yes
if so, what are his/her favorite morphs: andalite (natural)
Sample post: (Post a sample RPG here.) Ax sighed contentedly. He said to Rachel "I need more artificial fur and artificial hooves, mine seem to be dieing." "What's that I see? Cinnabuns! Miiiiiine!" Ax leaps over and starts gobbling down the cinnabuns.
Just then, Ax saw an armored figure leap into a shadowed corridor, followed by a giant red worm-like creature. A Hork-Bajir and a Taxxon! he thought, I never would have thought they would come to a buying place (mall) that had so many normal humans in it!

Hmmm...being one of the six main Animorphs, Ax is a very important character. You're RPing skills look as though they could use some developement, but you do seem to have a decent grasp on the character.
I know I'm being uber picky, but I just want to make sure that this site runs as well as possible, and you won't be the only one I ask to make several adjustments I'm sure.
So, would you mind posting one more sample? (at least for now, unless I think of another sample I want) Just post it seperately on a reply to this, and feel free to take time to make it just how you want. Anyways, could you post a sample of a battle scene for me? Again, we just want to be certain you can handle the more serious side of Ax, the honor bound nobility of a typical Andalite.

Ax calmly watched as the Hork-Bajir charged at them. At the last moment, he lept forward and sliced the leading Hork-Bajir in half with a single stroke of his tail. He moved backwards, narrowly dodging a arm-blade of a different Hork-Bajir, and retaliated, slicing first its arm, then its head off. He looked up at that moment, and saw another Andalite, one that was becoming very familiar to him. "Visser Three!" Ax hissed under his breath. At that moment, while he was distracted, a Hork-Bajir sliced across his forehead with a spike. Ax fell to his foreknees, and saw blue blood dripping down into his face-eyes. ((I am pretty sure Andalites have blue blood, correct me if I'm wrong)) He then used his eye-stalks to see Visser Three, and viciously sliced his way through the Hork-Bajir, on a path to the Yeerk-infested Andalite.
Just as Ax was getting closer to Visser Three, more Hork-Bajir came flooding to the Kandrona Pool, and the Ax was forced back, away from Visser Three. He was suddenly blinded by rage, and went into a killing frenzy, slicing apart anything that came remotely near him!

Ok, here's the deal...I think you show alot of promise, but I'm not to sure about your portrayal of the character. I have a hard time envisioning Ax just going off on a rampage like that.
You're trying very hard though. I'm going to give just whether or not to give you the part some more thought.
I'm going to make a practice board for RPs, a place to practice RP skills, where other members can be free to give constructive critisism, and I suggest you take advantage of that.
While I'm working out whether or not to accept your character, please go back and reread some of the AX books if you have a chance, just to refresh your mind on how he behaves and such. Especially you should pay attention to the more serious aspect of his personality, as I think you are having truoble with that.
If you want to portray such a major character, you need to be able to show a well rounded perception of his personality, I'm willing to work with you on it if you PM me, maybe we can see about why you think he would have acted that way, and what some other's might have made him do instead and such. Together, with some work, I think maybe we can make you Ax worthy! But, that's not a promise.

Hm... I haven't read the last 20 books or so, but he seems like he goes in a sort of blind rage when he sees Visser Three... at least he did to me... and ok ^-^ if he was ordered not to go rampaging, or if it would specifically endanger the animorphs, then he wouldn't, but if you were in a battle, and you suddenly saw the person who killed your brother, what would you do?

I suppose I understand your perspective, but if I am remembering correctly, even though Ax hates Visser Three with a passion, he is also frightened of him. Ax is unsure of his own abilities to deal with Visser Three, after all he's only an Aristh. He doesn't have the fighting experience an older Andalite would.
