These are the rules for the RPG!! DO NOT BREAK THEM!
1) No foul language; do not try to bypass the word filters.
2) No posts of fewer than 5 lines. If you feel your post is short, describe what your character is feeling/seeing.
3) No strictly dialog posts. You must include at least some description and feelings.
4)No bad mouthing other players. If you have problems with them, report directly to me, or to one of the moderators/administrators.
5) No more than one character per person.
6) No god-modding! That is when you play another persons character for them! You cannot post another character's reactions!
For example: Marco saw Rachel charging towards the hoard of Hork-bajir.
If Rachel hasn't already said she was charging, then that was god-modding.
Exceptions: If there is a large group of some sort (i.e. Hor-Bajir) You can post the actions for any that are not specifically being played.
7) No ooc (out of character) in the RPG. If it is absolutely necessary to post OOC, then put it in double parenthesis "(())"
8) The rules are subject to change if I see fit. If I change them, I will send out an announcement.
9) To prove to me that you read the rules, please include the words "Together We Fight" at the end of your application.
10) Post in the third person, even though the books were written in the first person. It's easier to understand this way.
11) Thoughts should be posted in italics. For instance: Marco saw Rachel running towards the hoard Hork-Bajir and thought It's Suicide!
12) Please post a week, day and time on your threads to avoid confusion. These are purely for RP purposes, and do not have to be the real time and date. You're character may not post in two threads that take place at the same time and date. This is to keep the RP organized, and make it possible for the Animorphs to actually plan and carry out missions. Days are abbreviated as: M (monday), T (Tuesday), W (Wednesday), TH (Thursday), F (Friday)
I.E W1,T,5:00PM (means week1, Tuesday, 5:00PM)
13) Please remember, if your character was not present for a discussion, then they cannot know what was discussed unless another character tells them in the RP along the way. (Either directly or via spy work)
14) For characters who are not currently filled, I will accept Temps, or members of that Character's family may RP as them (i.e. I could RP as Marco's dad) but only if they share a home. (I couldn't RP as Eva.)
15) It is highly recommended, though not necessary, that you preplan your RPs.
16) No one should enter an RP without permission from the members already engaged.
17) If these rules are updated, the new codeword must be used to access the appropriate board so that you can post on the thread for that day. Any questions/concerns are welcome to be posted on the thread, and I'll gladly try to answer. (if you are a new applicant, all you have to do is post "Together We Fight" in your application. Don't worry about the code word till the first update after you've applied.
