age: Do I have to say? Fine...21, but I began reading the books way back when, when they first came out.
How many of the books have you read: All of them, save Ellimist Chronicles and thats only cause I can't find it anywhere. I have to re-read them every other year though to remember everything that's happened.
character applying for: Tobias
Approx. Age of Char: About 15, who knows what in hawk years.
character race: Was human, now a hawk.
status: Animorph
This character appeared in:N/A
why do you want to RP this character: Tobias has always been my favorite of the 6, and I relate to him much better than any of the others, save maybe Cassie.
why do you like Animorphs: The prospect of becoming an animal and trying to save the world? Come on, need anymore be said?
Is this character morph capable: Yes
if so, what are his/her favorite morphs: Red-tail hawk (nothlit), and his human self
Sample post: (Post a sample RPG here.) The thermals were great today. Soaring high above the city, Tobias gazed down at all the people walking below him, totally unaware of the feeling of wind in your feathers. If he could have smiled he would; they would never know this kind of freedom. Of course it had come with a price, one which still had consequences. Angling his wings slightly, he dove down towards a park, skimming across treetops. He landed on a branch in a tree quite some distance from the used paths. Everyone was in school right now save Ax, but he was busy with his Soaps. A flicker of movement caught his eye, as a small chipmunk began to make its way between trees. Tobias didn't even give his stomach a second thought as he dove from the tree towards his lunch.

One satisfying meal later, at least for the hawk part of him, Tobias sat perched on a tree, watching people on the path go by oblivious to his existence. How could he be so bored? He had the whole sky today, the thermals were great and yet....
Ever since the run in with Visser three posing as his cousin, he'd just been thinking too much. Finally Making up his mind, Tobias spreads his wings and takes off from the tree, going towards a dumpster behind the mall. Cassie had left him a bag of clothes there, as well as some spending money, and right now he just felt like interacting with people.
He circled a few times to make sure the coast was clear before landing carefully on the concrete, out of view of the street and parking lot. Concentrating on his old self, the first sensation he got was his beak shrinking and melting into lips. Next the feathers began to pull up into his body, causing a slight but as always not painful, itching sensation. Tobias tried to keep his eyes on the wall across from him, as the mental picture of what he currently looked like was bad enough. His body filled out next, something which he silently thanked whatever powers above for. His legs softened and filled out as they grew, shooting him upwards, his torso growing at the same rate. His feet grew thick just in time to keep him from falling over and the three talons merged and then split into 5 toes. The rest of his head was next, as he could feel his ears growing and a sudden dimming of his vision told him that his eyes had finished. The hands and arms were last, but went quickly and very soon he was flexing his five fingers, remembering the feel.
Quickly he slipped on the jeans and shirt that were in the bag, placing the few green bills in a pocket. The shoes were a bit difficult for him since he had to get re-used to having flexible digits, but after a minute or two he got it. running a hand through his hair to mat it down and taking a quick look in a mirror Rachel had left for him, he took a deep breath as he was ready now to enter society, for a little while at least. He waited a moment longer, just to practice a few facial expressions before moving out of the alley and into the stream of people going into the mall. The guard at the entrance gave him a weird look, but it was probably cause he thought that Tobias had skipped school. Even during the school and work hours, there were a lot of people shuffling by and Tobias had to do his best to avoid them. Touch was something he still needed to work on.
He arrived at the food court without incident, something that internally he was very glad about. The chipmunk might have been enough for his hawk body, but not for his human. fumbling to get the bill from his pocket, he moved over into one of the fast food lines. It moved fairly quick and in no time he was up. "Ei...echm, I...would lycke, hechm, like a hambugger please." Geeze, so much he'd have to get used to. It wasn't that he didn't know how, he'd done well when he'd played his part with the lawyer, but for some reason it was harder today. Perhaps he was just nervous with all the people. The person behind the counter gave him a pleasant smile, as they are required to do and plugged it in to the register. "1 dollar please." Then the server went to the metal shelf where the burger had just been placed, slid it into a bag and set it on the counter beside the register. Tobias handed over the bill in his hand, and took the bag. "Thank you," He said as he gave her what he thought was a thankful smile, but the look he received suggest that she didn't take it that way. He would have to work on it. The hawk life had seriously damaged what little social skills he once held onto.
He moved away from the counter and towards an empty table nearby. Halfway there a man moved in front of him and they collided, however lightly. "Oh, excuse me! Um..." His face was deadpan, which perhaps was a saving grace in the next moment as the man he had bumped into was none other than Vice Principle Chapman. The controller looked down at him, scrunching his eyebrows a bit. "Shouldn't you be in school...." he paused as he thought.... "Do I know you?" Tobias shook his head slightly. "I don't think so, and I'm home schooled, I have the day off." This is where the lack of expression helped salvage the moment as Tobias had forgotten how one looks when they recognize someone, so his lie was made all the more believable. Hawks have the perfect poker face. Chapman seemed to buy it and giving Tobias a short nod, moved off into the crowds. Boy, that was close. I wonder what he's doing out of school himself? Tobias thought as he made his way to the table and sat down. It was a blessing that Ax wasn't there for the next moments, for surely his eating habits would have surpassed the cini-bun crazed alien for that brief meal.
